Now, there are a couple of things I have to keep on my person at all times to ensure I'm ready for the colder months. I keep them all stashed away in my gorgeous, Chloe-esque Topshop Tassel Saddle Bag - the perfect size to keep only my absolute essentials.
First up, like any other 21st century girl, my iPhone is an absolute must. My gold 5s keeps me up to date with all the latest goings on with all of my social media apps, and wherever I am, I can snap the most perfect, wintery flatly for Instagram within seconds. I also can never be without my headphones, and these copper happy plugs make the perfect little accessory for me. Marina and The Diamonds is currently my go-to woman for tunes after seeing her live at the weekend - honestly so incredible and the best live act I've seen. We even made eye contact a few times, scream! That lady is my Queen, and I cannot recommend her music enough. No doubt this month I'll be whacking out the annual Christmas playlist. You can't beat some festive tunes to keep you in the spirit!
A recent discovery is the Dove DermaSpa Indulgent Hand Treatment*, which I've basically been inseparable from. When it's not sitting pretty in my handbag, it's right next to my bed before I go to sleep. I've never really found a hand cream that offers long-lasting results, and just feels like a pleasure to use. No greasy residues can be found here, it's just a fantastic lightweight, easily absorbed, nourishing hand cream that your hands will really drink up. I love using this as a second step after I've used my LUSH Salted Coconut hand scrub (obviously, not whilst out and about!), which results in incredibly soft hands! Totally a must have if your hands get seriously dry in the colder months.
Another recent discovery is the Charlotte Tilbury Air Brush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder, which may seem a little strange to consider an essential for Autumn/Winter. Whilst most people experience, parched, dehydrated skin, mine just remains as oily as ever meaning I constantly need to touch up my face and de-shine. Bane of my life. This is ultra fine and doesn't leave a chalky residue over the skin, nor does it seem obvious that you're wearing powder. It's pricey but a little goes a long way. Powder usually lasts me a year or so, anyway. Plus, if you can't treat yourself at this time of the year, when can you?!
My final essential is this gorgeous Mint + Gold Organiser from Nouvelle Daily. I'm on a mission to seriously get back to where I was blogging wise, and this neat little organiser is seriously helping. It's compact and lets you start it from any time of the year. You can set out your goals, and re-evalutae or re-set them every few months too which is a great idea, and definitely a must have if you're a blogger. It's been a rocky few months for a while but I'm planning on upping 'my game' a little bit more (more posts each week perhaps...?!) and seriously improving my social media (mess), so I feel a little lost without this little planner.
Do you have any handbag essentials for Autumn/Winter? Are you excited about Christmas? What are your favourite festive tunes?
