So enough was enough and James somehow grumpily managed to get out of bed and off I marched him to have some brunch down the road.
We decided to settle on Velo Lounge.
But first, two cappuccinos, please.
We nattered away, struggling over the variety of breakfast choices.
I settled on the The Mexican and James chose the Lounge Breakfast.
A tomato sauce with fiery pockets of chorizo, red pepper and chilli, with two poached eggs, rich and creamy guacamole and an English toasted muffin.
James wolfed down his breakfast too which most certainly cheered him up after the Hunger Monster aka Me had dragged him out of his sleepy lair.
With two very full and very satisfied tummies, we waddled out and had a pretty chilled out rest of our day....
PS. Confession time - I know, I've been dreadful recently. No blog posts, not a chirp. I've basically ben trying to get the blog looking the best I possibly can so have given it a bit of a makeover. There are still some tweaks to be had but it's looking much better, don't you think? Blog posts will be fully running now, and there may even be a YouTube debut later today.....
The food looks delicious, although I have to say, I'm not sure about spicy Mexican for brekkie! Sounds like me and my boyfriend, I always have to drag him out of bed for breakfasts - I wake up early than him and I'm always starving!
